The easy35 v2 is a complete redesign of VALOI's most popular camera-scanning tool, featuring significant mechanical and illumination upgrades. By attaching directly to your macro lens, it eliminates bulky copy stands and tripods, providing a stable, light-tight environment for high-resolution digitizing.

easy35 v2 Key Upgrades:

• The Universal Light Source (patent pending): A leap from 81% to 99% light uniformity. This ensures edge-to-edge illumination even with wide-angle lenses, effectively eliminating the "orange corners" and vignetting issues common in home scanning.
• Optimized Color Balance: The fixed color temperature is tuned to pre-balance the orange mask of color negatives and works equally well for black-and-white negatives and positive film.
• Precision Engineering: The v2 transitions from 3D-printing to an injection-molded ABS body for the main unit and features an all-metal rotation mechanism, delivering 5–10× tighter tolerances overall. A 5-point spring-loaded ball-bearing system ensures your film holder locks perfectly in place, keeping film perfectly parallel to the sensor.
• Smart Power Management: Battery life has been doubled to over 4 hours. The new Smart Battery Bypass allows you to run on direct USB-C power for marathon sessions without draining or heating the battery.
• Magnetic Accessory Mount: Now features a magnetic interface for the easy35 Duster, making it faster than ever to clean film on the fly.

Compatibility:

The easy35 v2 works within the easy35 v2 system, including easy35 v2 accessories such as the easy35 v2 Duster and easy35 v2 Slide Holder, as well as all other optional easy35 v2 format-specific holders (35mm Sprockets, 35mm Half Frame, APS, 126, 110, and Minox film formats). It is not backward compatible with the original easy35 system, easy120 or VALOI 360 system. easy35 v1 film holders can be used on the easy35 v2, but without the secure locking offered by the v2 holders.
