The easy120 Advancer unit is an attachment to the easy120, and requires the main unit for operation.

Ergonomics

With the easy120 Advancer, you will improve the ergonomics of scanning by avoiding awkward and cumbersome movements to pull film through the holders.

Speed

With the rollers, you can efficiently move film through the holders while keeping a consistent hand position, allowing higher speed with more confidence.

Accuracy

Using rollers allows you to make small framing adjustment with accuracy and consistency. This allows you to maintain consistent film framing, which allows batch cropping of your scans to the film area. Scanning with consistent film framing can save several minutes per roll in post processing.

Adjustable to any format

The smart configuration of grooves on the easy120 Advancer axles allows for adjustment for all roll film formats, from 120 film down to Minox film, if holders are available. To adjust, simply move the rubber rollers sideways on the smooth steel axle.

Attachment and construction

The easy120 Advancer attaches to the side of the easy120 main unit using the two included thumb screws.

The frame is made of thick aluminum and precise plastic parts to maintain consistency and low friction. The axles are made from steel and held in place by aluminum knobs. The rollers are made from a soft but durable specialized rubber used in industry.

The result is a stable, sturdy device, conveniently attached or removed.
