1. About VALOI

Kameratori Oy (Business ID 2375606-2) operates the web store valoi.co, where items are sold, primarily consisting of modular film scanning equipment and accessories.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed through valoi.co. By placing an order, you agree to comply with these Terms.

This web store complies with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

2. Making an Order

Sales are completed between the customer and the seller whose product the customer has ordered through valoi.co.

Orders are confirmed once the customer agrees to these Terms and completes payment. After an order is completed, it cannot be canceled through the web store. If a customer wishes to cancel, they must contact VALOI directly.

Upon payment, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. Contact information provided will be used solely to fulfill the order and process any related inquiries.

3. Delivery

Delivery methods, costs, and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout based on the selected destination and order details.

Shipping estimates shown before the checkout process are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed.

The shipping terms applicable to your order are those presented at checkout and described in our Shipping Policy.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs processing, or force majeure events.

Orders may be available for pickup where indicated at checkout. Pickup instructions will be provided after order confirmation.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details may be charged to the customer.

Customs & Duties

VALOI now ships all non-EU orders using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means all applicable taxes, duties, and customs fees are calculated and paid at checkout, so your order arrives without additional charges on delivery. Read more about Sales Tax & Import Duties

4. Payment

All payments for orders on valoi.co are processed through Shopify Payments (or other payment providers available at checkout).

By completing a purchase, you agree to the payment terms and policies of the payment provider used for your order. Shopify’s terms and conditions can be found here.

The available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may vary by region.

5. Returns & Cancellations

Returns and cancellations are accepted for any reason if the following conditions are met:

The customer notifies VALOI within 30 days of receiving the product.
The product has not been altered in function or appearance.
The product is returned within 30 days of giving notice.

Returns can be shipped by post or delivered in person to our headquarters in Tampere, Finland. Products must be safely packaged and include the original order confirmation, contact information, and payment details.

Return Shipping

VALOI covers return shipping if the item sent does not match the item ordered, or the item is damaged and VALOI has agreed that it qualifies as a valid return due to damage.
Customers cover return shipping for other returns (e.g., changing your mind or ordering incompatible items). Customers may choose their preferred shipping method.

Returns will be processed within 14 days of receipt, and refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.

6. Refunds

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method as the original purchase whenever possible.

A full refund applies if the return criteria in Section 5 are met. Refunds are also valid if VALOI has made an error, such as sending the wrong item or an item not as described.

7. Warranty

All VALOI products purchased from valoi.co come with a 2-year warranty or the minimum legal warranty required by law, whichever is longer.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, missing parts, or cases where the product does not meet advertised quality or performance.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by the customer, failure to follow instructions, or use of additional equipment or materials that prevent the product from achieving advertised results.

8. Pricing

All product prices displayed include applicable taxes where required by law. Tax-related details are displayed on product pages.

Where sales tax, VAT, or other consumption taxes apply, they will be calculated and included at checkout. Customers are responsible for understanding any local tax obligations in jurisdictions where VALOI is not registered to collect tax. Read more about Sales Tax & Import Duties

9. Pricing Errors & Force Majeure

VALOI reserves the right to cancel orders if the displayed price is clearly incorrect.

VALOI is not responsible for delays or damages caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events.

10. Other Cancellation Rights

VALOI reserves the right to cancel an order and refund the payment if:

The product is unavailable due to supply issues
There has been a clear pricing mistake

VALOI also reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion if we detect potential signs of fraud, suspicious activity, or misuse through our fraud detection systems. In such cases, any payment already made will be refunded to the original payment method.
