This plug-and-play tool attaches directly to your macro lens, scanning 35mm film and smaller formats up to 10× faster than a flatbed. The easy35 v2 is a complete redesign of VALOI's most popular camera-scanning tool, featuring significant mechanical and illumination upgrades. By attaching directly to your macro lens, it eliminates bulky copy stands and tripods, providing a stable, light-tight environment for high-resolution digitizing.

  • The Universal Light Source (patent pending): A leap from 81% to 99% light uniformity. This ensures edge-to-edge illumination even with wide-angle lenses, effectively eliminating the "orange corners" and vignetting issues common in home scanning.

Compatibility:

The easy35 v2 works within the easy35 v2 system, including easy35 v2 accessories such as the easy35 v2 Duster and easy35 v2 Slide Holder, as well as all other optional easy35 v2 format-specific holders (35mm Sprockets, 35mm Half Frame, APS, 126, 110, and Minox film formats). It is not backward compatible with the original easy35 system, easy120 or VALOI 360 system. easy35 v1 film holders can be used on the easy35 v2, but without the secure locking offered by the v2 holders.

Q&A

Are the easy35 v1 accessories compatible with v2?
Regrettably v1 accessories are not compatible with v2 system and vice versa because of the new improved design of the v2. The v1 holders may fit in the new easy35 but will not be held in place with the new improved 5-point spring loaded bearing system. We recommend upgrading the accessories too to enjoy the all over upgraded workflow.

When will the easy35 v2 be available at retailers?
Retailers will have the easy35 v2 in stock later on approximately late march- early April with normal pricing.

What is different about the light source on easy35 v2 compared to the v1?
The easy35 v2 delivers a significant leap in performance, increasing light uniformity from 81% to a near-perfect 99%.
