For use with the easy35 v1, this 35mm Sprocket Holder lets you scan the entire frame, including sprockets. It features a 38.7mm x 33.25mm gate and is easily swapped with a single screw. Note: Some lenses may struggle with contrast and flare.

Detailed Description

Product: easy35 v1 Film Holder for 35mm Sprocket

The easy35 v1 35mm Sprocket Holder is a replacement holder for the easy35 v1 that allows you to scan more of the frame, including the open sprockets of the film.

The gate dimensions are:

  • Length 38.7mm
  • Width 33.25mm

Compatibility

It is only compatible with easy35 v1 units. The holder is conveniently replaced by releasing a single screw screw and pushing the original holder out, and the new one in.

This holder is not compatible with the VALOI 360 system, easy120 system, or easy35 v2.

Note that some lenses have too poor contrast and flare control to scan film with visible sprockets. This is due to the strong intensity of the light shining into the lens.

Note

VALOI products do not scan film directly, a digital camera & macro lens are required to capture the image.
